Okay, here’s the story: guy is goofing around while driving his speedboat and wrecks it.  He needs to be resuscitated and the only one in the area is located at a local doctor’s house.  While the rescuers are reviving him, the doctor has a massive heart attack and because the resuscitator is being used on the guy, he dies.  Then when the guy tries to apologize to the doctor’s widow, she tries to leave only to be HIT BY A CAR which leaves her blinded.  As an act of atonement, guy becomes a doctor, specializing in neurosurgery, which comes in handy because widow now has a BRAIN TUMOR.  Guess what, he saves the widow AND HER SIGHT IS RESTORED!!

Also, they get together.
