The debonair Frenchman celebrates his first SUTS day with 12 films.  Here are my picks:

Algiers (1938)

The movie where Boyer’s character becomes the inspiration  for Pepe Le Pew.

Hold Back the Dawn (1941)

Boyer is a Romanian dancer/gigolo who seduces naive schoolteacher Olivia de Havilland into marrying him so he can gain entry into the U.S.  Naturally, he slowly falls in love with her.

Gaslight (1944)

Boyer is the emotionally abusive husband to Ingrid Bergman.  He may be trying to drive her mad, but why?

Fanny (1961)

Boyer plays a man who’s son leaves a local girl pregnant.
