I am finally caught up!!!  Anne Baxter-the granddaughter of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright is featured in 12 films, one of which is a TCM premiere (1941’s Swamp Water directed by the legendary Jean Renior).

The Blue Gardenia (1953)

A movie that starts off with such promise, a jilted woman (Baxter) drinks too much and when a sleazy man tries to assault her, she supposedly kills him in self-defense.  Then it goes downhill.  Still starts out promising.

All About Eve (1950)

Anne’s best known role.  She was nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal of seemingly innocent and naive woman who worms her way into a Broadway star’s (Bette Davis-who’s day will be on Sunday) career and personal life.

The Razor’s Edge (1946)

Anne wins the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as a woman who descends into alcoholism after losing her husband and daughter in a car accident.  Remade in 1984 with of all people, Bill Murray.
